Judging

In my recently published article Pro-Life or Pro-Choice: Keep Your Morals to Yourself When It Comes to Abortion apparently has drawn a lot of controversy. The jest of the argument is people want to tell others how to live their life. As shown throughout history (not specifically attempting to target religion, unfortunately religious leaders were the government in the early centuries) human life will be lost when forced to live under the morals of others. Despite the fact we dislike to argue this issue, it includes abortion. Many women have lost their lives during the time abortion was illegal in the United States. Not necessarily because they choose to go out back and have an abortion in an alley but because people would judge them for having premarital sex and being a single mother. That being said not every woman had an abortion due to people’s judgments, but that was a big part of it.

Each woman has to make the decision to have an abortion for herself. When people learn to respect human life, no matter how that human has chosen to live their life, is when life will be valued the most.

Military to Pass Judgment on Terrorist Suspects

On October 17th, 2006 President Bush signed into law the Military Commission Act of 2006. The act allows prisoners held in Guantanamo Bay to be prosecuted under military tribunals. How can the men and women fighting the war on terrorism fairly pass judgment on suspected terrorists? Doesn't this present a conflict of interest?
